About
With a grant received from Greening Forward, the students at J.C. Booth are afforded a unique opportunity to learn how to be greener. Students planted 5 dogwood trees, which will help create shade and prevent erosion around the school. Then, they built two gardens and four hand-powered composters, which will produce fertilizer for the gardens. Finally, they installed ten rain barrels to trap water for the gardens’ irrigation.
