Youth Is the Answer
In partnership with the Audubon Society’s Toyota TogetherGreen, join Charles Orgbon III, teen CEO and founder of Greening Forward, as he talks about the importance of, and strategies for, engaging youth in meaningful ways in your work. Why aren’t young people on your board of directors? Why aren’t they in your focus groups, advisory panels, and contributing to your organization’s media publications? Frankly, many adults have not quite explored what meaningful youth engagement looks like. If we hope to ever solve complex issues like creating greener schools, climate change, and mass extinction, we must make room for all stakeholders at the decision-making table, especially young people. Teen CEO and founder of Greening Forward, Charles Orgbon III, will be delivering a webinar training on how environmental professionals can leverage the power of youth to add value to their environmental campaigns

How To Develop Youth-Adult Partnerships
Presented by our curriculum manager, Hera Wu, this webinar is for both youth and adults and, though it is a presentation, attendees are also encouraged to participate in the interactive discussion of the youth-adult partnership and youth empowerment. We will be talking about sub-topics such as the roles youth can take, effective communication, what to consider in the creation of programs for youth, motivation, steps to take toward a successful partnership, and the language of empowerment. This webinar, itself, will allow youth and adults to work together to discover what a successful partnership is by exchanging points of view in discussing the questions posed and the materials presented. The goal of this webinar is that by its end, attendees will have modified their points of view and gained insight to be able to better establish and sustain youth-adult partnerships in a variety of settings in the future. Broader themes of leadership and professional and personal development will also be re-envisioned. Come join the discussion!
