Greening Forward's grant allowed J.C. Booth students to plant five dogwood trees, which will help create shade and prevent erosion around the school. Then, they built two gardens and four hand-powered composters, which will produce fertilizer for the gardens. Finally, they installed ten rain barrels to trap water for the gardens irrigation.
