It's possible to turn trash into a community space. In a multi-week campaign, Mill Creek High School students collected thousands of articles of styrofoam and plastic bottles. Then, with the help of a community organizer, Brennan Bird, the students learned how to form cobb bricks out of the plastic waste and with those bricks they created an earthbench.
