Robert Walton

Robert Walton is a sustainability professional with 5+ years of experience developing, implementing, and managing innovative climate, ESG, and energy efficiency initiatives. He led Greening Forward as its Executive Director from 2017 to 2019. During this time, he oversaw several new programs that greatly expanded Greening Forward’s reach both domestically and internationally. These included establishing and growing the Cameroon Program with Forbi Perise, which has now become the primary focus of Greening Forward’s work and the largest youth-led environmental organization in Cameroon. He currently serves as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors and continues to support the team’s efforts overseas.

Outside of Greening Forward, Robert is an Energy Efficiency Program Manager with Resource Innovations. There, he helps to implement state-led energy efficiency programs in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire, USA. He also has a passion for the outdoors and is a frequent hiker and camper across the Northeast.
